This has been a very special week at Kindermusik With Shelley as we have been celebrating 7 years of music and movement with over 300 families.
Thank you to all my families (Newman and Perth) that have been with us for a term, a year or many years.
It is a wonderful, special gift to be able to a part of your children's musical journey.
Wishing us many more years ahead together.
To all my Kindermusik Families.
Thank you for another amazing year at Kindermusik With Shelley. We have sung, danced, laughed and learn’t so much together.
I am so excited for 2019 marking the anniversary of my 7th year of Kindermusik in Australia.
I wish everyone a blessed, healthy year ahead filled with love, laughter and special moments. Love Teacher Shelley
What a wonderful term we have had at Kindermusik With Shelley. I can not wait to see everybody again on Friday the 12th of October for the start of our Term 4 classes. In celebrating this term all children received a certificate and many were proud to show their achievement. Thank you parents for another wonderful term. Happy Holidays!
A big warm welcome back to all my Kindermusik Families and a big "HELLO and Welcome to the Family" to all me new Kindermusik Families. We have started the term with much laughter, many hugs and much excitement towards our new themes this month.
My Foundation Babies (0-1 year olds) have been cooking up a storm with our theme "Peas and Carrots". Baking, bouncing and patting cakes with Pat-a-cake and shaking their instruments while making Vegetable Soup!
My Level 1 classes (1-2 year olds) Have been moving and dancing "All around the house" meeting my two favourite puppies called Rags and Rover! Our ears have gone "flip-flop" our tails went "wig-wag" and when we walk we walk with a "zig-zag".
My Level 2 classes (2-3 year old) have been laughing and giggling during our theme "Silly all over" theme and loving our story: 5 little monkeys jumping on the bed! Oh! and let's not forget about popping, stomping and catching our bubbles!
My Level 3 classes (3-4 year olds) have visited the Carnival this week during our theme "Carnival of music" and enjoyed going on the rides, playing ball games and eating popcorn and pretzels during our pretend play activities, extending their vocabularies and imaginations!
My Level 4 classes (4-5 year olds) have loved our theme "Join the Parade" where we have learn't about Henry's Penny Whistle, the Bass and Snare Drums. We have whispered, spoken, sung and called out using our voices and danced around the room with our scarves quietly (Piano) and stomped loudly (Forte) listening to the differences in musical dynamics.
My Level 5 classes (Pre-Primary) have loved learning more about their Glockenspiels, playing Arabella Miller the little caterpillar. We are having fun with our musical notation and learning to draw Ta's, Ti-Ti's and rest signs. Reading music and clapping the various rhythms composed are a piece of cake for these young musicians!
Hooray for the start of Kindermusik With Shelley this term. It has been so lovely seeing all my families and welcoming new families. With our wonderful themes this term we have visited Old MacDonald's Farm with all the animals. "Mooing", "Baa baaing" and "Hee Hawing!" (Lots of laughs and giggles all around the classroom). Join us for a preview class and enjoy the musical learning with Kindermusik. Classes for Newborns - 5 year olds. Unlimited attendance for all enrolled families per week. Visit www.kindermusikwithshelley.com.au to book a preview.
To all my Kindermusik Families, thank you for another wonderful term at Kindermusik With Shelley.
We have had so much fun singing, moving and learning new songs, new movements and making new friends.
Your little people have achieved so much this term during each class that it is always so inspiring to watch and be a part of.
During my Foundation Classes Mia learnt to walk! Freya started to sing "La la la " during our Hello song in my Level 1 Class.
My precious Eli who was told would never walk he is now running and learning to jump and when he said Goodbye to me during our last class he said "Thank you Shelley" this brought tears to my eyes!
During my Level 2 classes we have been learning to "Twirl & Swirl" and stop, while moving a second before! This is a very difficult activity for a busy toddler!
My Level 3 classes this term have moved like Whales & Dolphins during our "Whimsical Whales song" changing their movement with the scarves and balls from slow (whale) movements to fast & jumpy (Dolphin) movements improving their auditory skills. We searched for treasure and explored all the creatures in our backyard!
My Level 4 classes have learn't how to sing and move in a staccato (jumpy) and legato (smooth) way and sing in a crescendo (gradually getting louder) and decrescendo (gradually getting softer) way. Amazing to watch how quickly these concepts are learn't and repeated at home!
I can not wait to share Term 2 with you all which starts on Monday 30th of April.
Take Care and have a wonderful holiday. Musically Yours Shelley
